We found this one by accident—the best way to find something.

We were on a small expedition to pick up another piece when we spotted this tucked among the collection of a fellow picker. We had no idea it would be there, weren't looking for a card catalog, and naturally ended up bringing it home with us.

It's a wonderfully folky take on the traditional card catalog. Its unusually tall and narrow, with six wood-on-wood drawers, wood dowel joinery, and vintage brass label pulls. 

The construction is simple, honest, and utilitarian, with plenty of little imperfections and evidence of use throughout. We're not entirely sure where it spent its former life or exactly what it cataloged, but the mystery suits it.
