This European walnut desk came to us from our friend Jerry, who acquired the piece from his grandparents’ estate in Upstate New York.

This is one of the most unique minimalist desks we’ve come across yet. Beyond the beautiful bookmatched walnut veneer, what really sets it apart is its curved walnut lip, paired with slender steel legs featuring tapered, welded ends.

Restoration

Before going to its new home, the wood will be carefully sanded and refinished to bring the walnut back to life while preserving its original character. The steel legs will be stripped and refinished in black enamel, and the damaged cane will be replaced with fresh cane.

Sourced in New York. Soon to be restored by us.
